Due to its privileged location, Madremanya, despite belonging to Gironès, shares to a large extent the landscapes and environment of the Empordà. This makes Madremanya the perfect starting point, due to its proximity and easy access, to get to know Girona, the Empordà and the beaches of the Costa Brava.
El Racó de Madremanya is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Catalonia: The Golden Triangle.
This area is a land of great scenic beauty, with several protected natural areas and a spectacular coastline with its beaches and coves of the Costa Brava, and also enjoys a historical and cultural heritage: Gothic architecture, Romanesque art, charming villages, surrealist art of the genius Salvador Dali...
A whole set of attractions to which we must add its people and good food, ideal complement to the wines of the DO Empordà.

HOW TO GET THERE
BY CAR
Freeway A7 - exit 6 (Girona Nord), take C-66 (direction Palamós - La Bisbal d'Empordà). Cross Celrà, cross Bordils and at the second traffic light in Bordils turn right (sign Sant Marti Vell Madremanya). Cross Sant Marti Vell and, on the road, before entering the village of Madremanya, turn left (uphill signposted El Pedro, L'eixample, Zona d'equipaments) ...... At the end of the climb, turn left and then right.
We do not have parking inside the hotel but you can park, without any problem, right in front of the hotel door.
GPS
We advise NOT to use GPS but if you do it is IMPORTANT to mark exit 6 AP-7 freeway. : +41° 59′ 27.30",+ 2° 57′ 23.56"
Do not enter the village of Madremanya. On the road, before entering the village of Madremanya, turn left (uphill with signs El Pedro, L'eixample, Zona d'equipaments) ...... At the end of the climb, turn left and then right.
